1. Put water for rice on to boil. when boiling add the rice, cover and set the heat to low.
2. Trim any fat from the steak and slice thinly across the grain.
3. Mix the Tamari brandy, sugar and salt in a bowl add the meat and coat well. Let sit for 15 minutes.
4. Peel and chop the the ginger.
5. Peel the onion and slice int eights.
6. Core and seed the pepper then slice thinly.
7. Chop the hot pepper finely.
8. Core the tomato and slice into 8ths or 10ths depending on the size of the tomato.
9. Put a wok on medium high and the oil then add the ginger, garlic and hot pepper. Cook for a minute.
10. Add the reserved meat and cook stirring frequently - for several minutes until the meat is just cooked. Set aside.
11. Top up the oil if necessary and add the slice onion and pepper cook a minute then add the tomato.
12. Return the meat and cover - letting steam a minute or two.
13. When ready pour on the sesame oil and stir.
14. Serve over the cooked rice.
