Apple Watercress Salad

|Working: 20 Minutes |Total time: 20 Minutes
A fast tasty salad with watercress, apples and pecans.

Ingredients

  • Watercress 1 bunch

  • Apple - Granny Smith 1

  • Celery 2 ribs

  • Nut - Pecan Pieces 50 ml

  • Oil - Olive 20 ml

  • Vinegar - Balsamic 10 ml

  • Pepper 3 ml

  • Salt 1 dash

Preparation

  • Cut the stocks from the watercress.
  • Chop the leaves coarsely.
  • Add to a bowl.

  • Cut the ends of the celery, quarter lenghtwise the chop semi-finely.
  • Add to the bowl.

  • Quarter the apple.
  • Core then slice thinly.
  • Add to the bowl.

  • Pour on the olive oil
  • Rub to coat.

  • Repeat with the balsamic vinegar.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

  • Put on serving plates.
  • Top with pecan pieces.
